Ten students of Ferscoat International School, Lagos, who sat for the 2024 UTME have been celebrated by their institution for their stellar performance in the JAMB exam, which recorded mass failure.

School attributes students’ UTME performance to synergy

Contributing factors to their stellar UTME performance
When quizzed about the factors that led to the students’ outstanding performance in the UTME, Cephas attributed it to the school’s supportive environment, parental involvement, comprehensive curriculum, and study skills seminar.
He revealed that 96% of their students scored above 220. In his words:

Furthermore, an impressive 96% of our students scored above 220, underscoring our consistent dedication to academic excellence.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released the results on April 29, and the Port Harcourt school is proud of its students’ performance. According to Gold Spring High School, 10 of the students who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME had an aggregate of between 311 and 355.
A breakdown of the results showed that David got the highest score from the school. He had 355, followed by Iyowuna, who scored 346, and Eniara, who scored 344. Another brilliant student, Naphtali, scored 337, followed by Mofinyinfoluwa, who scored 336.
